Statements of Truth on Resurrection

"Christ in you," (Col. 1:27) means we are united with Him in His
resurrection life.
That Jesus rose from the dead is an historical fact. But it will
do us no good unless we are united with Him in His resurrection life,
which is salvation.
Salvation or eternal life are not THINGS or classifications that
God gives us because of Christ. Rather, God freely gives us Christ
Himself, WHO IS THE LIFE -- the only resurrection life. "I AM the
resurrection and the life."
Believers are baptised into Christ Himself -- baptised into His
death and resurrection. This is the one baptism -- and through it we
become one with Christ in spirit, that is, we are IN CHRIST and Christ
is in us.
Jesus is the resurrection and the life. There is nothing God has
for humanity outside of His Son -- but in Christ God has FREELY given
all that He has to give.
By grace through faith God has not merely IMPUTED to us the
righteousness of Christ. More than this, God has IMPARTED to us Christ
Him -- in Whom is all resurrection life.
If a person has Christ within, then they have His resurrection
power within -- and to the extent that a believer abides in Christ by
faith the power of His resurrection life is operative over all of the
power of sin and death.
God never gives anyone strength or power. Rather, He exposes us
as weak, so that we might abide in Christ Himself, who is the power of
God, and the resurrection and the life.
It is error to seek THINGS from God as if they are independent
of Christ. We are to seek CHRIST HIMSELF -- in Whom God has given all
things.
"Upon this ROCK I will build my church." In other words, "Upon
the Rock of My life within -- upon MYSELF -- will I build the people who
constitute the ekkesia. And the gates of hell cannot stand against the
reality of the risen Christ within His people."
There is not resurrection life without death to the old man in
Adam. Both are finished realities -- but the actual experience can only
be realized if we LOSE OUR LIVES in order to FIND HIM as our life.
The greatest proof that we have indeed been raised with Christ
-- the greatest proof of resurrection life within -- is power over sin
and death. If we unconditonally abide by faith in Christ the
resurrection power found only in Him will be present for any situation.
The Bible clearly states that Christ was crucified FOR us, and
was raised FOR us, and was ascended FOR us. But the Bible also reveals
that believers have been crucifed WITH CHRIST, been raised WITH CHRIST,
and are ascended WITH CHRIST. This is the difference between religion
ABOUT Christ and the experiencing of Christ Himself.
Christianity is CHRIST IN YOU, the hope of glory. The Christian
life is an ongoing discovery and experience of the Christ who is in
believers -- resulting in knowing the Truth and a renewed mind according
to Christ.
